Gobara ta tashi a kasuwar kayan ɗaki ta Kugbo da ke Abuja, inda ta shafi shaguna 21 da wata mota, kamar yadda Hukumar Ba da Agajin Gaggawa ta Ƙasa (NEMA) ta bayyana.

NEMA ta ce gobarar ta faru ne da safiyar Juma’a, 2 ga Oktoba 2026, bayan da ofishinta na Abuja ya samu kiran gaggawa da misalin ƙarfe 11:15 na safe.

Hukumar ta ce an tura jami’an agajin gaggawa da suka haɗa da Hukumar Kashe Gobara ta Tarayya zuwa wurin, inda jami’an NEMA suka taimaka wajen kula da cunkoson jama’a da kuma dakile yaɗuwar gobarar.

NEMA ta tabbatar da cewa ba a samu asarar rai ba, sai dai binciken farko ya nuna cewa shaguna 21 da mota ɗaya sun samu matsala sakamakon gobarar. An kuma samu nasarar rage wutar domin hana sake tashi da kuma kare sauran sassan kasuwar.
