About the Role
We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Operations & Finance Manager to manage finance, administration, and day-to-day operational systems.
The successful candidate will ensure financial accountability, regulatory compliance, and efficient administrative support in line with national broadcasting standards under the National Broadcasting Commission (NBC).
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Oversee accounting, payroll, and financial reporting
• Ensure statutory compliance (tax, pensions, regulatory fees, etc.)
• Manage procurement, vendor contracts, and asset control
• Supervise administrative and support staff
• Maintain proper documentation and operational records
• Oversee logistics, facility management, and operational workflows
• Implement internal control systems and risk management procedures
• Provide periodic financial and operational reports to the General Manager
Required Skills & Competencies
• Strong financial management and budgeting skills
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Experience in procurement and contract management
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities
• High integrity and accountability
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools
Professional & Academic Qualifications
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
• Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, ANAN) is an added advantage
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in finance and operations
• Experience in media, broadcast, or digital organizations is an advantage
• Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory documentation processes
