About the Role
We are looking for a dependable Broadcast/IT Engineer to support daily studio operations and technical broadcast functions.
The successful candidate will ensure smooth studio operations, maintain audio quality, and assist with field and technical tasks while adhering to professional and regulatory standards under the National Broadcasting Commission.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily studio operations during live and pre-recorded shows
- Monitor and maintain audio quality on air and online
- Assist with field and outside broadcast technical setup
- Set up, test, and maintain studio and recording equipment
- Troubleshoot technical issues under supervision
- Ensure proper handling and care of broadcast equipment
- Assist the Broadcast/IT Engineer with maintenance and backups
- Follow all operational and safety procedures in the studio
Required Skills & Competencies
- Basic knowledge of audio mixing and studio equipment
- Ability to operate digital recording and editing tools
- Understanding of live broadcast workflows
- Quick problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
- Team-oriented and able to take instructions
- Familiarity with IT support for studio systems is an advantage
Professional & Academic Qualifications
- Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Broadcast Engineering, Audio Production, or related field
- 1–3 years relevant experience in studio or broadcast support
- Practical experience with audio/video equipment preferred
- Certification in technical/media operations is an added advantage
